What are you HNGRY for?

If you're HNGRY to see God's Kingdom grow, don't wait for someone else to start something.

Invite a few people you already know. Open God's Word. Pray together. Keep showing up.

HNGRY helps ordinary Christians start simple, consistent Bible studies — and helps remove the barriers that can keep them from continuing.

Looking for a Bible study? We can help with that too.

We're all HNGRY. Jesus satisfies. The only thing missing is U.

HNGRY is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit that reimburses meals tied to intentional discipleship. Kingdom funds go directly to the people doing Kingdom work.

Why this matters

The Kingdom grows when disciples make disciples

Jesus didn't reserve disciple-making for pastors, professional ministers, or people with a theology degree.

Ordinary Christians can open God's Word with a few people, pray together, share life honestly, and help each other follow Jesus.

You may be much closer to starting than you think.

So why don't more start?

Almost always, it's one of these.

  • "I'm not qualified."

You don't need a degree or a title. You need God's Word, a willing heart, and a few people to invite.

  • "I don't know who to invite."

Start with the people God has already put in your life — friends, coworkers, neighbors, church friends, or family.

  • "Nobody would come."

A Bible study can sound like a commitment. Breakfast with a few friends is an easy first yes. Start there.

  • "I don't know how to lead."

You don't have to be an expert. Read the passage before you meet, ask good questions, pray together, and let Scripture do the heavy lifting. HNGRY will help you grow as a host.

  • "How do I keep doing this every week?"

Consistency matters. HNGRY helps hosts keep moving forward — including reimbursing eligible shared meals so the recurring cost doesn't become another reason to stop.

Meet your guide

We help you turn intention into action

A lot of Christians believe in making disciples. Starting is the hard part.

HNGRY helps you identify a few people, take the first step, grow into a trusted host, and build the consistency that turns one breakfast into a real Bible study.

One practical way we help is by covering eligible meal costs through donor support. The meal isn't the mission. Making disciples is.

Chad Carroll, our founder, explains the idea in two minutes.

Starting is simpler than you think

  1. Step 1

    Think of a few people

Who is already in your life that you could invite to breakfast, coffee, or lunch?

  2. Step 2

    Open God's Word together

Choose a passage. Read it before you meet. Talk about what it says, what God is showing you, and pray together.

  3. Step 3

    Keep showing up

Consistency is where relationships deepen and discipleship happens. HNGRY helps you grow as a host and helps remove practical barriers along the way.

It starts with an invitation

Daniel asked a friend to grab breakfast and open the Bible together. This is what happened.

Two ways to move the mission forward

Start a Bible study

God has already put people in your life. Invite a few of them. We'll help you take the next step and grow as a trusted HNGRY host.

Start a Bible study

Help someone else start one

Put Kingdom resources behind people who are actively making disciples. Your giving helps approved hosts meet consistently and helps more Bible studies form.
